There's something weird going on with ደቡብ accent
They say "ፕቅር" instead of "ፍቅር" & "ፒዚክስ" instead of "ፊዚክስ"; So you logically assume they replace "ፈ" sounds with "ፐ" (cause they don't have it or smtn..)
Just like Amharic replaces the "Dha" of Af/ormo with ደ.. giving us hilarious results like: "አቶ በዳዳ" instead of "Ato Badhaadhaa" & "ተበዱ" instead of "tabadhuu (ተጫወቱ)"
— Anyway, you logically assume something similar is happening in ደቡብ accent when they say "ፐረሱ ፐረጠጠ"
But then you hear them say: ፋፋያ instead of ፓፓያ & ፋንት for ወርቅመያዣ
So now you're f*cked in the head, like: I thought y'all didn't have ፈ.. but here you're ፋፋያing & ፋንትing 😧
So ሆን ብላቹ ነውንዴ ወቀያየር የያዛቹት? 🤨 Are y'all mocking us? 😐
