📚Today, let’s look at e-book apps in our country. It’s great that Ethiopian books are now easy to access through apps, thanks to advancing technology. Two popular ones are Tuba and Afroread. Both apps are easy to use, have nice designs, and make accessing Ethiopian books convenient. Afroread has over 10,000 downloads on Google Play, while Tuba has over 100,000.

Each app has unique strengths: Tuba mostly offers books by Ethiopian authors, while Afroread includes both Ethiopian and translated books. With these apps, it’s easier to find Amharic books without wasting time searching. Some books even have audio versions, and both apps support multiple payment options.

However, both apps could improve by marketing their product more effectively to help reach a wider audience. Making more people aware of these valuable platforms could enhance the impact of Ethiopian literature and culture, making it even more accessible to all.

ETRSS-1 Ethiopia’s First Satellite and Its Impact 🚀🇪🇹

Launched on December 20, 2019, ETRSS-1 (Ethiopian Remote Sensing Satellite) marked Ethiopia’s entry into space technology. Developed with China’s support and operated by the Ethiopian Space Science and Technology Institute, this 65 kg satellite orbits 628.61 km above Earth, capturing new images every four days.

ETRSS-1 provides important data for agriculture, forestry, and environmental management, helping monitor climate change, track weather, and manage resources better. Although we are still learning how to use this technology effectively, we are making progress and working towards using it to help our country grow.

🎉 A big thank you! to the Ethiopian Space Science and Technology Institute for making this achievement possible, providing us with valuable tools to protect our resources and improve productivity.
