Directions to Get 360 Waves

1. Get a Low Haircut

Start with a fresh haircut, ideally with a level 1.5 guard or close to your desired wave depth. Ensure your barber cuts evenly and with the grain of your hair.



2. Invest in the Right Tools

Soft, Medium, and Hard Brushes: Use different brushes depending on your hair length. Start with a soft brush for shorter hair.

Wave Cap or Durag: Keeps your hair compressed and protects the waves.

Moisturizer or Pomade: Hydrates your hair and adds hold. Avoid heavy products that clog pores.

Shampoo and Conditioner: Use sulfate-free products to maintain moisture.



3. Brush Consistently

Brush your hair daily for at least 7-10 minutes.

Brush in the direction of your desired wave pattern (360 involves brushing outward from the crown in all directions).

Use a mirror to ensure you're brushing evenly across your head.



4. Moisturize and Maintain

Apply a light moisturizer or wave pomade to keep your hair soft and manageable.

Avoid overusing products to prevent buildup.



5. Wolfing Stage

Let your hair grow for 4-6 weeks without cutting. Continue brushing to develop deeper waves during this period.

Maintain your waves by compressing your hair with a durag overnight.



6. Wash and Style Regularly

Use the wash and style method: Apply shampoo, brush it into your hair while wet, rinse while brushing, and then compress with a durag while it dries.

Keep your scalp clean to prevent buildup and itchiness.



7. Stay Consistent

Brush often, wear your durag nightly, and stick to a routine.

Patience is key—360 waves take time and dedication.




With persistence, you'll start to see waves forming within a few days, and they'll get deeper and more defined over time.
