👉 We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Amharic Script Writer Intern to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
👉 Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling and engaging Amharic scripts for various projects, including short videos, documentaries, commercials, and promotional videos.
Conduct research and gather relevant information to ensure accuracy and authenticity in scriptwriting.
Translate English content into Amharic while maintaining the original essence and meaning.
Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to refine and finalize scripts.
Adapt scripts to meet specific requirements, such as duration, target audience, or cultural nuances.
Revise and edit scripts based on feedback from the team, clients, or stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, cultural references, and language usage to create contemporary and relevant scripts.
Requirements:
👉 Fluency in Amharic and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Strong understanding of Amharic language, grammar, and cultural nuances.
Demonstrated passion for storytelling and creative writing.
Excellent research skills to gather accurate information for script development.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in using scriptwriting software and other relevant tools.
Previous experience or coursework in scriptwriting, creative writing, or related fields is a plus.
