Show me a world leader giving a good old normal speech without exaggerated pauses or big words.
I get that the old public speaking styles are still revered. If you receive any tips about public speaking, chances of you being told to slow down, take pauses, and emphasize your words are common. It makes sense. But I find that being straightforward, telling the honest stories behind what you're saying, being sincere, and most importantly, simplifying it makes a lot more sense than good old beating around the bush to get to a point. It's not that hard to distinguish between a speech/talk that's fake or sincere uk.
