የዛሬው የዓለማችን ቢሊየነር ዶ ዎን ቻንግ እ.ኤ.አ በ 1954 በደቡብ ኮሪያ በአነስተኛ ገቢ ከሚተዳደር ቤተሰብ ተወለደ። በደቡብ ኮሪያ ህይወቱ ደስተኛ መሆን ያልቻለው ቻንግ፣ ኑሮውን ለመለወጥ የነበረውን ህልም ለማሳካት በ1981 ጂን ሶን ከምትባለው የትዳር ጓደኛው ጋር ወደ አሜሪካ ተሰደደ።
ቻንግ በአሜሪካ ግቢ በማጽዳት፣ ነዳጅ በመቅዳትና ባሬስታ ሆኖ በመሥራት ኑሮን ለማሸነፍ ብዙ ለፍቷል። በዚህ ሂደት ሰዎች ለዘመናዊ ፋሽን ያላቸውን ፍላጎት በመገንዘብ፣ ከጊዜ ወደ ጊዜ ለልብስ ፋሽን የነበረው ፍላጎት ጨመረ። ቻንግ የተለያዩ ትናንሽ ሥራዎችን በመሥራት ያጠራቀመውን 11,000 ዶላር በመጠቀም በ 1984 የመጀመሪያውን የልብስ ፋሽን ቤቱን ‘Fashion Forever 21’ ሎሳንጀለስ ውስጥ በመክፈት ሥራ ጀመረ። የልብስ ፋሽን ሥራው እየበርካታ የወጣቶች ትኩረትን በመሳቡ በዓመት 700 ሺህ ዶላር በማስገኘት ብርታትን ሰጠው። 
ትናንሽ የሚባሉ ሥራዎችን ሳይንቅ በመሥራት ራዕዩን ለማሳካት የሚተጋው ቻንግ ‘Fashion Forever 21’ የሚባለውን ፋሽን ቤቱን በአጭር ጊዜ ውስጥ በማስፋፋት 700 ቅርንጫፎችን በ 57 ሀገራት ውስጥ ለመክፈት ችሏል። ዛሬ ከነዚህ ልብስ ቤቶቹ በዓመት ከ4.4 ቢሊየን ዶላር በላይ ገቢ ያገኛል።
“የምትወደውን መሥራት እስክትችል፣ የምትሠራውን ውደድ” እንደሚባለው ልቦናችን የሚያልመው ስፍራ ለመድረስ በትዕግስትና ብርታት መስራትን እንደሚጠይቅ፣ አንዴ ጫፉ ከተያዘ ደግሞ ስኬት ሩቅ እንዳልሆነ ከቻንግ ህይወት መረዳት ይቻላል።
