According to the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE), financial institutions collected loans across various economic sectors. Key sectors collected from included Agriculture with 26.4 billion ETB, Industry ( Mining, Manufacturing, Electricity and Water, Construction) at 33.6 billion ETB, and Domestic Trade at 29.4 billion ETB. Other sectors, such as Housing and Construction (22.1 billion ETB) and Transport and Communication (13.6 billion ETB), also contributed, alongside smaller contributions from various other categories.
