TIMRAN participated on a CSOs bazaar organized by EHDRC that was held at Goethe Institute on November 08, 2024, G.C.
Hundreds of Addis Ababa University students, Goethe and IPSS staff, film makers, donors and Embassy personnel others visited the bazaar and CSOs able to entertain their works in the event.
The event allows CSOs to connect to the public and engage in creative discussions towards finding common groups between artists and human rights defenders.
EHDRC organized the event in collaboration with the Ethiopian International Film Festival with the support of the Kingdom of Netherlands Embassy, Freedom House, Goethe Institute (Addis Ababa), and the Alliance Ethio Fracais.
The 19th Ethiopian International film festival was held beginning from November 04, 2024, with the theme – Film and Human Rights; the role of film makers in promoting human rights and will conclude on November 12, 2024, G.C.
TIMRAN is an indigenous not-for-profit organization emerged as a local nonpartisan civil society organization dedicated to advance women’s participation in politics and public decision-making in Ethiopia regardless of their political opinion or party affiliation. It was registered by ACSO on March 17, 2020. TIMRAN is dedicated to carry its share in the nation’s efforts to end the current political environment that is characterized by political gridlock, marginalization, injustice, violence, and rapidly growing ethnic conflict.
