have you ever noticed how beggars often approach you with a soft “mts” sound, even before saying anything? they get close to you and cast the little “mts” spell to grab your attention

you think they feel bad about their situation, but I feel like they might just be trying to turn on our empathetic switches. i think we are conditioned to feel sad and empathetic when we hear the “mts” sound

since we are a nation of beggars and have lived with it for a long time, we might even evolved unique “mts” receptors in our brains to navigate through various social ques. it might be the reason we call them የኔቢጤ because at some point we all gonna "mts" our ways into something or situation

good thing am a very smart person, i am not going be fooled by some conditioning, instead am going to “mts” back harder until we both are deeply saddened by our own realities and start crying together on the side of the road
