Tenses • የ ጊዜያት ሰዋስው

Tense ማለት ድርጊትን በጊዜ የምንለካበት ወይም የምንገልፅበት የሰዋስው ክፍል ነው።

There are only three basic tenses in the English language: the past, the present and the future:
3 መሰረታዊ የጊዜያት ሰዋስው ያሉ ሲሆን እነሱም Past (ያለፈ ጊዜ) ፣ Present (የአሁን ጊዜ) እና Future (የመጪው ጊዜ) ናቸው።

3ቱም መሰረታዊ የጊዜያት ሰዋስው በውስጣቸው 4 ተጨማሪ የጊዜያት ሰዋስው አሏቸው፦ Simple, Continuous, Perfect እና Perfect Continuous ናቸው።

1) ለዛሬ ስለ Past Tense እንመለከታለን።

A) Past simple

🕰 ባለፈ ጊዜ የተሰራ ነገርን ለመግለፅ እንጠቀምበታለን።

አወንታዊ - S + V2 + Obj
Eg: He watched a movie.

አሉታዊ - S + didn't + V1 + Obj
Eg: He didn't watch a movie.

ጥያቄ - Did / Didn't + S + V1 + Obj
Eg: Did he watch a movie?
Didn't he watch a movie?

🕰 Conditional type 2 ላይም እንጠቀምበታለን

Eg: If I found her address, I would send her a gift.

🕰 ወይም ተከታታይ የሆኑ ባለፈ ጊዜ የተፈፅጸሙ ድርጊቶች ለመግለፅም እንጠቀምበታለን።

Eg: I got up, had breakfast and then went to school.

Past Continous, Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continous....
