Ye Ethiopia Lijoch TV, the first Ethiopian Children’s Television, commenced its trial transmission as of June 16/2019 on African Child Day. This Television ,which is the first of its kind in the nation, will serve Ethiopian Children both living in Ethiopia and abroad.
Ye Ethiopia Lijoch TV (Ethiopian Children Television) Channel established with the objective of providing entertainment, educational and informative television programs for Children. It is a pioneer and the first Children Television in the nation. It envisions being a channel chosen by children ,trusted by parents and endorsed by the community for its educational, entertaining and passing Ethiopian values.
The Television station aimed at producing and transmitting tailored children programs with the view of helping Ethiopian children to grow up to be responsible citizens for themselves and the community at large. Its programs are designed to pass Ethiopian values as an elder, entertain like a friend, educator like a teacher and align to local and International Children rights.
