Ugandan entrepreneur, Juliet Tumusiime, who has founded Cheveux Organique International Limited, a company that produces eco-friendly hair extensions made from banana fibres.
𝑶𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝒅𝒆𝒂: Tumusiime got the idea while working on a USAID project, noticing that banana stems were discarded after the fruit was harvested. She researched and founded Cheveux Organique in 2015 to repurpose these stems.
