As part of the Employment & Entrepreneurship Development Workshop, we engaged in an interactive poll session led by our COO, Dina Makonnen, giving attendees a deeper understanding of Ethiopia’s education-to-employment landscape. The session sparked important reflections on the current realities of student enrollment, labor market entry, and job availability, setting the tone for a data-driven discussion on the gaps and opportunities ahead.

Building on this, Siham Ayele, Country Manager at AJN, shared a compelling presentation on Dereja’s work with CDCs and universities, highlighting key lessons learned, successes, and challenges.
