በ2015 ዓ.ም የ12ኛ ክፍል መልቀቂያ ፈተና ወስደው ማለፊያ ነጥብ ማምጣት ላልቻሉ ተማሪዎች የማካካሻ ትምህርት (Remedial) ከጥር 1 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ እንዲሰጥ ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ወስኗል።

በሚኒስትር ዴኤታ ኮራ ጡሹኔ በቀን ታህሳስ 24/2016 ዓ.ም ተፈርሞ ለሁሉም የማካካሻ ትምህርት ለሚሰጡ የከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት የተላከው ደብዳቤ ፤ የማካካሻ ትምህርቱ ከጥር 1/2016 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ እንዲሰጥ ያዛል።

በዚህም ተቋማቱ ከጥር 1 ጀምሮ በቀሩት ወራት ትምህርቱን ውጤታማ በሆነ መንገድ መስጠት እንዳለባቸው ተገልጿል።

The Pan Africa Youth Leadership Program (PAYLP) is a three-week exchange from April 6-April 27, 2024 in the United States for high school students and adult mentors. The primary program themes are civic education, community service, entrepreneurship, and youth leadership development.  Participants live with host families for the majority of the exchange and engage in leadership and civic education workshops, community service activities, visits to local schools and community organizations, project planning and development, and local cultural activities with American peers. Participants return home with action plans to bring their exchange experience to their home communities in the form of a wide range of community service projects.

በ2015 ዓ.ም የ12ኛ ክፍል መልቀቂያ ብሔራዊ ፈተና ወስደው ያለፉ ተማሪዎች #የዩኒቨርሲቲ_ምደባን አስመልክቶ በትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የተሰጠ ማብራሪያ

የተማሪ ምደባ መስፈርቶች፡-

1. በተፈጥሮም ሆነ በማህበራዊ ሳይንስ መስኮች 1,000 ከፍተኛ ውጤት ያስመዘገቡ ተማሪዎች በመጀመሪያ የዩኒቨርሲቲ እና የትምህርት መስክ ምርጫቸው ምደባ የሚካሄድ ይሆናል።

2. የምደባ ስርዓቱ እያንዳንዱ ተማሪ ያስመዘገበውን አጠቃላይ ውጤት በምደባ ስርዓት ሂደት ውስጥ መለያ አድርጎ ይጠቀማል፡፡ የተሻለ ውጤት ያስመዘገቡ ተማሪዎች ሌሎች ተፈጻሚ የሚሆኑ ህግና ደንቦችን ባልጣሰ መልኩ ምርጫቸውን በመጠበቅ ረገድ ቅድሚያ ይሰጣቸዋል፡፡

3. የምደባ ስርዓቱ በተማሪዎች የተመረጡ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ያላቸውን የቅበላ አቅም ታሳቢ ያደረገ ነው፡፡ ተማሪዎች 46 ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ለምርጫ ቀርበውላቸዋል፡፡

4. የምደባ ስርዓቱ በተማሪዎች የተመረጡ የትምህርት ፕሮግራሞችና የተመረጡት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ያላቸውን የትምህርት ፕሮግራም መሰረት ያደረገ እንዲሆን ተደርጓል፡፡

5. በተቋማት የጾታ ተዋፅኦን ለመጠበቅ በሚኖረው የምደባ ስርዓት የጾታ ተዋፅኦና ሚዛን እንዲጠበቅ ተደርጓል።

6. የምደባ ስርዓቱ ከተለያዩ ትምህርት ቤቶች የሚመደቡ ተማሪዎችን ተዋጽኦ በጠበቀ መልኩ እንዲሆን ያግዛል፡፡

7. የምደባ ስርዓቱ ተማሪዎች ያስመዘገቡትን ውጤት ታሳቢ ያረገ ሲሆን ይህም ተመሳሳይ ውጤት ያስመዘገቡ ተማሪዎች አንድ ላይ እንዳይመደቡ በማድረግ የተለያየ ችሎታና ተሰጥኦ ያላቸው ተማሪዎችን ቀላቅሎ ለማስተማር ያግዛል፡፡

8. የምደባ ስርዓቱ እንደ ወሊድ ያሉ ልዩ ሁኔታዎችን ያማከለ ነው፡፡ በመሆኑም በመሰል ሁኔታ ውስጥ ያሉ ተማሪዎች በተመደቡበት ዩኒቨርሲቲ ለመቀጠል የሚቸገሩ ከሆነ ትክክለኛ ለውጥና ድጋፍ የሚደረግ ይሆናል፡፡

9. በምደባ ወቅት የጤና ችግር ኖሮባቸው ትክክለኛ የሕክምና ማስረጃ ላላቸው ተማሪዎች ምደባው በተለየ መልኩ ሊታይ ይችላል፡፡

10. ተመሳሳይ ጾታ ያላቸው መንትዮች ካሉ የምደባ ስርዓቱ ከፍተኛ ነጥብ ያገኘው/ችው ተማሪ ከተመደበበት/ችበት የትምህርት ተቋም ቀሪው መንትያ ደግሞ ያለምንም ቅድመ ሁኔታ በቀጥታ ይመድባል።

11. የምደባ ሲስተሙ የአካል ችግር ላለባቸው ተማሪዎች እኩል ዕድሎችን የሚሰጥ ሲሆን ልዩ ፍላጎቶቻቸውን እና ለምደባ መስፈርቶቻቸውን ግምትውስጥ በማስገባት የሚሰራ ይሆናል።

የ2023 የታዳጊ ሳይንቲስቶች ሽልማት አሸናፊ የሆነው የ14 ዓመቱ ኢትዮጵያዊ ሔማን በቀለ 25,000 ዶላር ተበረከተለት።

በአሜሪካ ቨርጂንያ ነዋሪ የሆነው ታዳጊ ሔማን ሽልማቱን ያገኘው የቆዳ ካንሰርን ለማከም የሚያስችል ሳሙና በመፍጠሩ ነው።

ሳሙናው በአነስተኛ ዋጋ ($.50) ለገበያ የሚቀርብ መሆኑ ተመልክቷል።

"ታዳጊዎች በዓለም ላይ መልካም ተፅዕኖ መፍጠር እንደሚችሉ አምናለሁ" የሚለው የዘጠነኛ ክፍል ተማሪው ሔማን፤ ለባዮሎጂ እና ቴክኖሎጂ ትምህርት አይነቶች ሁሌም ልዩ ፍላጎት እንደነበረው ይገልፃል።

ውድድሩ የፈጠራ ሃሳቡን ለማውጣትና ውጤታማ እንዲሆን ጥሩ አጋጣሚ እንደፈጠረለት ገልጿል።

ላለፉት አራት ወራት በውድድሩ ለመጨረሻ ዙር ከደረሱ ሌሎች ዘጠኝ ተወዳዳሪዎች ጋር America’s Top Young Scientist ለመባል ብርቱ ፉክክን ሲያደርግ ቆይቷል።

በቀጣዮቹ አምስት ዓመታት የፈጠራ ውጤቱን የበለጠ በማበልፀግና ለትርፍ ያልተቋቋመ ድርጅት በማቋቋም ሳሙናውን ለሚፈልጉ ሰዎች በአነስተኛ ዋጋ ለማቅረብ እንደሚፈልግ ተናግሯል።
