If we squeeze all of human history into just one year, the timeline is absolutely insane:

- Agriculture began 12 days ago.
- The first civilizations (Mesopotamia, Egypt) appeared 10 days ago.
- The Roman Empire rose and fell in the last 2.5 days.
- The Mongol Empire ruled about 18 hours ago.
- The Renaissance began 10 hours ago.
- The Industrial Revolution started 1 hour and 30 minutes ago.
- The first airplane flew 30 minutes ago.
- World War II ended 20 minutes ago.
- Humans landed on the Moon 18 minutes ago.
- The Internet was created 7 minutes ago.
- Smartphones became popular 2 minutes ago.
- TikTok was created 25 seconds ago.

It’s crazy how the things that control and trap us today—social media, the internet, modern systems—only happened in the last few minutes of our "year."

So every Ethiopian client I got is so weird, I swear. Disrespectful, bad at communication, and zero appreciation for the work. I used to think it was just me, but after asking other designers and tech people, it’s the same story. They expect huge changes like it’s a single click, when in reality, it’s like destroying the entire project and rebuilding it from scratch.

Then I worked with international clients, and man, the difference is insane. I had a meeting with a famous guy who started his own startup, and while presenting his project, he said thank you at least 20 times. Finished the project, and he even gave me a bonus almost equal to one of the project price just to show appreciation. That’s when it hurt—realizing how bad things are here.

We really need to work on our communication and respect as a country. It’s not just about money; it’s about valuing people’s work.

I love this song! It’s all about the story of the lost son (Luke 15:11-32)— "My son was lost, but now he is found". No matter how far we go, the Father’s arms are always open!

Wish u a marvellous sunday.

Got curious and did some research… and man, it’s crazy to think about how one person’s fortune compares to an entire nation’s economy 😭.

Starship's new static fire test was crazy! Only six Raptor engines fired, but they cycled through multiple thrust levels to test new hardware and flight conditions. Imagine how intense it would be if all 33 Raptors fired! The data from this test will help improve the ship’s hardware and flight profile for the next launch.

This is a hero section design I created for Love Map! Tried to make everything match the Valentine’s vibe. I’ll definitely design the full app soon.

@natyiu0

So everyone’s talking about Valentine’s Day ... I didn’t even realize it was today until I saw posts on other channels. 😂 Anyway, it got me thinking—what if I designed a cool website or mobile app UI for Valentine’s? That’s when I came up with Love Map—an app where couples can pin their memories (photos, videos, notes) to the places they’ve been together. Every time they open the app, they see a map or even a globe with their pinned locations, and when they click—boom! Their story opens.

I didn’t design the full app yet (no way I’d finish that today 😅), but I did design a landing page concept! Thought it’d be cool to share. Should I drop it here?

Just finished this landing page design for NutriAI.

This is exactly for AAU and my boarding high school.

Selecting already highly smart and competent people and then bragging about your quality of education is akin to selecting gold medalists for a sports team and boasting about your "training regiment". If you can make "average & normal people" into big brained powerhouses, then we have something to talk about.

Every generation has its own innovators

It’s wild how much our perspective has changed in just 100 years. From 1900 to 1925, we completely rewrote how we see the universe—Einstein’s relativity, quantum mechanics, the discovery of atoms and subatomic particles. We used to think time and space were fixed, but then we realized they bend and stretch. Cars and airplanes became real, radios connected the world, and early computers started taking shape.

Now, from 2000 to 2025, we’re living in a whole different world. Instead of just discovering particles, we’re smashing them together at insane speeds in the Large Hadron Collider. Space isn’t just for governments anymore—private companies like SpaceX are landing rockets and planning trips to Mars. AI is changing how we work, think, and create. The internet has reshaped how we communicate, and tech like social media and smartphones has made the world feel smaller.

A hundred years ago, we were trying to understand what the universe is made of. Now, we’re training machines to "think" and build digital worlds. It’s like humanity has grown into this huge giant, turning what once seemed impossible into everyday life. Every generation has its own innovators, and no matter how messy the world gets, i believe human creativity isn’t going anywhere. Even if AGI happens (which I don’t think is close—at least not as some companies claim), we’ll always have something new to build, explore, and dream about.

Just watched Oppenheimer, and damn, I had no idea about all the politics and drama behind the atomic bomb. It’s not just science—it’s power, betrayal, and crazy decisions that changed history. The movie was insane!

@natyiu0

I’m starting a new channel, but keeping it to myself for now. It’s something different—not tech, engineering, blog, or design. I’ll share it when the time feels right.
