"ተማሪ በሞተ ፣ በሰባት አመቱ
ተምሮ ይመጣል ፣ ትላለች እናቱ"... የሚል ግጥም በተመስገን ገብሬ "ህይወቴ" የሚለው መፅሀፍ ውስጥ ማንበቤን አስታውሳለሁ።

ይሄን hazy memory ወልወል ወልወል ካደረጉት የማያሳዮት ነገር የለም መቸስ። ልክ የዛሬ ሰባት አመት ከምናምን ሩቅ አዳሪ ልቤን እና ወፍራም ተስፋዬን ከቡራቡሬ ብርድ ልብሴ ጋር ተሸክሜ ህክምና ትምህርት ገባሁ(ሁለቱን እንጃ እንጂ ቡራቡሬ ብርድ ልብሴ እስካሁን አለ)።

ከዚያስ
የመጀመሪያዎቹ ሰሞናት እንደዋዛ አለፉ። ጉንጭ አልፋ ወሬህን እያወራህ፣ ምግብ እየበላህ ፣የፈረደበት F.R.I.E.N.D.S እያየህ ፣ ከfriends ጋር ባስተማሪህ እያሾፍክ ፣ ሲስተሙን እየተቸህ፣በታክሲ ሄደህ ከተማ እያየህ ፣ ቤተስኪያን እየሄድክ ጊዜው ይሄድልሃል።

ከዚያ ግን ባጭሩ ወይ ትምህርት ይከብድሀል ወይ በጣም ያስጠላሀል። Anxiety በገበሬ እጁ በግራም በቀኝም በጥፊ ያጮልሀል። ወይ ድብርት የተባለች አዚማም ጋኔን ትጠቅሳሀለች። ከዚያ ጭልጥ ብለህ ልትጠፋ ትችላለህ።
medicine ይለዋውጥሀል። ዲያቆን ሆነህ ገብተህ existential ሆነህ ልትወጣ ትችላለህ። የLil Wayne አድናቂ ከነበርክ እነሆ እማሆይ ፅጌማርያም ገብሩ ማረፊያህ ሊሆኑ ይችላሉ። ፈጣን ነው ተብለህ ገብተህ ምናልባት ቀርዛዛነትህን እዚያ ቀብረር ብሎ ታገኘዋለህ። Genius አልነበርኩ እንዴ ብለህ ታስብ ታስብና የሆነ ቀን ለካ ትዝ ሲልህ 12ተኛ ክፍል ስትጨርስ cerebral cortexህን መኝታቤትህ ኮመዲኖ ላይ አስቀምጠኸው የመጣህ ይመስል ደንቁረሀል። አንዳንዴ የሆነ ኮርስ እምወድቅ ከመሰለኝ ራሴን "አይዞህ እንኳን አንተ fieldኡስ ወድቆ የለ?አንተ ከፊልዱ ትበልጣለህ?" እለዋለሁ።😁

ማጣፊያው ሲያጥርህ ከዚህኛው self help ወደዚያኛው self help book እያማረጥክ ይሄን motivation ታሻምደዋለህ። ከሞተ የሰነበተ inner strengthህን ትከሻውን ጨምድደህ "ተነስ እንጂ" ትለዋለህ። (አሁን ነው የገባኝ እንጂ አሪፉ self help bookስ ለካ Harrison ነበር።)

Medicine ትምህርቱ ሌሊት 10:15 ላይ እንደሚወጥርህ ሽንት ነው። ወይ ተነስተህ ሸንተኸው አትገላገል ወይ በሰላም አያስተኛህ እንዲሁ እያመነታህ ስትቁነጠነጥ የሚያሳድርህ አይነት። አንዳንዴ ስህተትህ ማለቂያ የሌለው ይሆናል። ተሰፋ የሚባለውን ነገር ቆርጠህ cremate ታደርገውና Rockbottomህ ላይ ፈርሸህ ቁጭ ልትል ትችላለህ። It is what it is ብለህ።

እና በስተመጨረሻ አሁን ከነዚህ ሁሉ አመታት በኋላ ይኼን ነገራ ነገር ልሰናበተው ስል ገረመኝ። እዚህ መድረሴም ትንሽ አሳቀኝ። Woody Allen እንደሚለው "comedy is tragedy plus time" ነውና ነገሩ ባለፉት አመታት ጥሩ የሚባል ጊዜ ባይኖረኝም ከዚህ ሁሉ በኋላ ግን አለመሳቅ አልቻልኩም። መሳቅ ችዬ በመውጣቴም ትንሽ ደስተኛ ነኝ። ያለፈ ሁሉ ያስቃልና። መስፍን ወንድወሰን የተባለ ገጣሚ እንደሚለው ነው የዚህ አለም ነገር እንግዲህ

" አልሻገር አልራመድ፣ ከእዳ ባህር ከቀውስ ወጀብ
ብቻ ማለት ራስ ይዞ፣ ሲመጣ እግዞ ሲሄድ አጀብ።"

"Let’s honor the notable figures"

On this day (March 8/2025); there was a Dinner ceremony of Graduating class physicians of Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College.

It was a prestigious event that marks the transition of medical students from era Internship to periods of Graduation and professional world of the healthcare.

The event was launched by the speech of Dr Anteneh Mitiku (Y12 Hospital Medical College Provost and Emergency & Critical Care specialist) and attended by Hierarchy Managing Officials, Department heads, Respected Seniors, Residents and Graduating class students!!!

This special occasion serves as a landmark of memory, a day of reward and recognition for those who performs the best as highlighted below:_

1. Best Nurse of the year:- Marta Terefe (እማሆይ); for she has special dedication, commitment, compadsion, caring for her patients, making work environments smooth, exmplary social interaction with students...

2. Best Resident of the Year:- Dr Yitayal Lebeza (General Surgery R4); for he has the qualities of Opennes, friendly, communicative, best internship mentor, teacher, consultation, decission and followup expert....

3. Best Preclinical year instructor:- Dr. Biniam Tsegaye (Pathologist); for his special qualities of Delivering lectures, lecture time management, Humble, Optimist and making even the complicated issues easy....

4. Best Senior of the Year (clinical years):- Dr Girma Herpasa (Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist); known for his eagerness to teach, support, protect and appreciate his students, expert to scan his environment, professionalism at its peak, personality of students is his daily concern, assesses individually if he suspects something abnormal....

In addition to those rewared above, Recognition paper was given to the different stakeholders of the medical school from the GC commitee.
