The Pakistan Navyโs newly inducted submarine, PNS/M HANGOR, has successfully carried out its maiden Live Weapon Firing in the North Arabian Sea. During the tactical sea trials, the submarine launched an anti-ship cruise missile from a submerged depth, engaging and destroying a designated surface target at an extended operational range with pinpoint precision. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf witnessed the firing from at-sea command, praising the submarineโs lethal combat punch, technological edge, and operational preparedness, while reiterating Pakistanโs focus on credible subsurface deterrence.
